Moshe's Birth and the Legend of Sargon

Parents	My mother was a priestess, my father I knew not.	וַיֵּלֶךְ אִישׁ מִבֵּית לֵוִי וַיִּקַּח אֶת בַּת לֵוִי
Baby in Basket	She set me in a basket of rushes, with bitumen she sealed my lid.  She cast me into the river, which rose not [over] me.	וַתִּקַּח לוֹ תֵּבַת גֹּמֶא וַתַּחְמְרָה בַחֵמָר וּבַזָּפֶת וַתָּשֶׂם בָּהּ אֶת הַיֶּלֶד וַתָּשֶׂם בַּסּוּף עַל שְׂפַת הַיְאֹר
Salvation	The river bore me up and carried me to Akki the drawer of water.  Akki the drawer of water lifted me out as he dipped his ewer.	וַתֵּרֶד בַּת פַּרְעֹה... וַתֵּרֶא אֶת הַתֵּבָה בְּתוֹךְ הַסּוּף וַתִּשְׁלַח אֶת אֲמָתָהּ וַתִּקָּחֶה.... וַתִּקְרָא שְׁמוֹ מֹשֶׁה וַתֹּאמֶר כִּי מִן הַמַּיִם מְשִׁיתִהוּ
Adoption	Akki the drawer of water took me as his son and reared me.	וַיִּגְדַּל הַיֶּלֶד וַתְּבִאֵהוּ לְבַת פַּרְעֹה וַיְהִי לָהּ לְבֵן
Divine Commission to Lead	Ishtar showed me love. And for four and […] years I exercised kingship.	וַיֹּאמֶר ה'...  וְעַתָּה לְכָה וְאֶשְׁלָחֲךָ אֶל פַּרְעֹה וְהוֹצֵא אֶת עַמִּי בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִמִּצְרָיִם
